A highly detailed decorative antique map of the southern part of Dithmarschen in Holstein. This extremly detailed antique map depicts the region around Meldorf, Brunsbüttel and extends towards the Amt Rendsburg. In the lower corners two inset plans of Meldorf and Brünsbüttel with its city walls. The Dittmarscher Tideland in the North Sea is beautiful decorated with sea monsters (whales) and a sunken ship. Engraved after the cartographic sources by Johannes Mejer from Husum. Old colored example, cartouches partly heightened in gold.
